The purpose of this blog is comprised of two desires: to affirm each other as we heal ourselves and to stand in solidarity as we heal our world. As I’ve undergone my own process of growth, I’ve come convinced that these processes are inseparable and necessary for deepening our spiritual lives and for transforming the systemic injustices our world contains.
First, I wish for us to stand alongside each other as we evolve with compassion to embrace our shared humanity. To this end, I am facilitating the Affirming Writer Project, which seeks to celebrate diverse writers within the mind-body-spirit world as well as to provide resources and engagement as we work to improve our stance of solidarity.
For trauma survivors, I am dedicated to creating Goddess-Spirituality practices that affirm you on your journey. No matter the particular form your practice takes, seeking Goddess can provide you with a soft landing spot as you heal from past wounds. We are all wounded, some more than others. We may find few places that are welcoming and open in which to explore spiritual development as we reckon with our experiences. My hope is that this can be a safe hideaway to rest and reclaim your soul.
